Crammed into a small outdoor kennel.

No protection from the elements, having to fight other dogs for food and water, rarely interacting with people. That is the life of a puppy mill dog. That was Domino's life. That fear and desperation was all that he knew. Until Husky Halfway House stepped in to help, when the county shut the whole illegal operation down.

It is no surprise that it can take Domino a little while to warm up to new people. But this sweet, goofy soul is worth a little patience.

Domino would love a home with other huskies just like him, that can be playful and not overbearing. He gets along with all of the dogs but prefers the company of smaller, quieter packs where he can feel safe and secure. He's not one to be pushed around and knows how to stand his ground.

As a senior, he loves to lounge around most of the day and would make a great couch potato. He's not looking for anything fancy—just a cozy spot to call his own and a family to share it with.

If you think you have the perfect home for Domino—a place where he can be safe and loved for the rest of his life, please don't hesitate to apply! This sweet, shy, goofy guy can't wait to meet his forever family.
