Today has been packed with exciting moments, heartfelt stories, and a whole lot of husky love here at Husky Halfway House. Here’s what’s been happening!

Meet Alaska — Our Sneaky, Tennis Ball-Loving Best Friend!

Alaska is almost three years old and has been waiting over 670 days for her forever home. She's playful, energetic, and a certified escape artist — a true Houdini in husky form!She loves her people, a good tennis ball, and has a medium energy vibe that would fit into almost any pack.

Spirit’s Matching Challenge

Today we also launched a special matching challenge in honor of Spirit, a senior husky who overcame incredible odds. Thanks to a $500 match offer from our board member Kelly, every donation brings us closer to funding free transports to get more seniors — and all our huskies — home faster.

On the Road with Mike and Annabelle

Mike and Annabelle are currently out on a rescue ride, transporting 12 huskies to their forever homes! They checked in with a live update during a stop at a Love’s dog park, giving the pups a chance to stretch their legs and enjoy a little playtime.

SBG Takes Over Social Media

Today, SBG (our beloved Maintenance Mike) decided it was his turn to "beg" for a little help. With 45 dogs ready to go home and not enough gas money in the tank, he made a heartfelt (and hilarious) plea for matching donations, gas cards, and support through our Husky Swag sweepstakes. We’re thrilled to share that over $1,100 has already been raised, but there’s still a long way to go!
