Glacier- Adoption Highlight

Four years may not seem like a long time, but for Glacier it's a really long time to be halfway home. He was adopted once but ended up back in a shelter because he is an escape artist. Glacier absolutely hates being alone and does not do well in a crate. We’re hoping to find him a home with someone who can spend all their time with him. Maybe a retired couple who knows how to speak husky? That sounds perfect.

Let’s get real about Glacier: He’s not suitable for homes with small animals or cats—he is not a farm dog and will not do well in a home with small pets. He can’t go to dog parks because he doesn’t get along with other male dogs. He would probably be happy as the only dog in the household. This is rare for huskies but basically, he is a huge sasshole. Jenni calls him a land shark.

Despite his quirks, Glacier is incredibly affectionate with people. He’s a goofy love bug who craves attention and will be very vocal if he feels ignored. He loves being lazy (as long as he isn’t left alone) enjoys sunshine and snuggling into cozy spots (like holes).

Glacier is food motivated, enjoys playing "catch me if you can" when the leash comes out, and is ready to find a family that will love him just as he is. If you think you could be Glacier’s forever home, please put in an application. Let’s give Glacier the happy ending he deserves!
