Grab your tissues, I need to tell you why this spay and neuter clinic is so important to us personally but to the dogs in our care. I can tell you from experience as well as Jenni and Melissa can, we are tired of losing puppies in are arms. These are puppies that should not have ever had to enter this world, but they did and it was only for a short time. Pictured below are the 4 that I lost in the last 5 months. My Angel babies, Mazikeen, Aurora, Winny and Chucky.

I miss them dearly but they’re my reason to keep going. They’re the reason why we are fighting so hard to build a spay and neuter clinic and then someday a 24 hour emergency. In the past 6 months we’ve had 38 puppies enter this world and we’ve had a lot also leave this world way to soon. We can prevent these losses, by never letting it happen in the first place.

Now let’s talk about what it does to the moms? Annie is my perfect example. She was absolutely terrified of me and humans in general. She’d never known a kind hand. Her mothering instincts didn’t kick in until after puppy #3 came out. She had no idea what she was doing and had I not of been with her we would have lost those 3 puppies right away because I had to remove them from their sack. Annie pushed out and ran away. She was so confused, scared and lost. It’s not fair what these pregnancies do to the dogs, physically and emotionally. So, let’s prevent this, we can! Help us do that!

The even harder part, we can’t even find the puppies homes, I know right now we have 14 puppies that need a home, with no luck. No one wants are husky mix puppies. So now not only do we not have homes for the 14 puppies in our care, but we don’t have a way to prevent more puppies. These puppies will stay with us.. however long that may be until they find a home of their own. We have to be able to stop and prevent this vicious cycle and we are working toward that goal every single day and we encourage you to join us and be here with us working towards this goal. Let’s save lives together.
