Husky Hightlight- Meet Logan

Logan’s story is one of rededication—a rollercoaster journey from happy puppy to the brink of hopelessness and back to the vibrant, happy dog he was meant to be.

When Jenni walked into the Oklahoma City shelter that day, her mission was clear: save a husky scheduled for euthanasia. But fate had other plans—Logan’s plans.

The first time she saw Logan, he was a bright light even in the face of hardship. His thick coat was matted and uneven, evidence of someone’s failed attempt at grooming. Yet his spirit shone through—bubbly, spunky, and full of hope despite his circumstances. On her second visit, his transformation seemed promising. Clean-shaven and lively, he looked like a pup ready to start a new chapter.

But the third time Jenni saw Logan, everything had changed.

He lay motionless on the cold concrete floor of his kennel, a shadow of his former self. His once-sparkling eyes were dull, his tail didn’t wag, and he couldn’t even lift his head. The shelter had taken its toll, and Logan’s spark was gone. Jenni’s heart broke. Was he sick? Had he given up on life?

There was no hesitation. H3 was his last hope, and we refused to let his story end there. Rededication is more than a belief at H3—it’s a promise to restore life, hope, and happiness to dogs like Logan.

Today, Logan is a testament to that promise. The lifeless husky Jenni carried out of the shelter has blossomed into a mischievous, rambunctious teenager. At three years old, Logan has the energy and sass of a one-year-old pup. He’s vibrant, full of energy, and delightfully obnoxious in the way only a young husky can be.

Let’s not sugarcoat it—Logan is quite the sasshole. He gets along well with other dogs, but he has a knack for pushing their buttons, testing their patience, and generally being the misunderstood teenage boy of the pack. And while Logan might be the class clown, underneath all that sass is a heart of gold and a deep desire to belong.

In a year where we could all use a little extra energy, Logan’s infectious spirit is the perfect reminder of the power of resilience and second chances.

Logan is ready for his forever home—a family who will dedicate themselves to nurturing his incredible spirit, teaching him some manners, and embracing his wonderfully obnoxious, lovable self.

Are you ready for Logan to join your pack?
