CLAIMING A DOG BROKE INTO HER HOME AND WOULDN'T LEAVE.
My adopter. Someone we trusted. Someone we charged an application fee to, did reference checks on, spent hours talking to and getting to know. We did a FaceTime video tour of their home. Then we drove Nicco across the country and spent 45 minutes with the family going over everything we possibly could, before hugging him goodbye.
And then she not only claimed she didn’t know him, but she called an authority to her home to remove him.
Next level. When it comes to adoption programs, mine has just been broken.
Look at this video. That’s Mike and look how happy Nicco is to be home with us. This was literally the moment we brought him home last night.
He is home. Nicco is home.
I am so sad and confused about what happened this week. Let's not forget Lobo, who ended up in a shelter again because the family didn’t reach out for help, or the dog that drove twice across the country bounced around still not finding a home, or the dog that was dumped a few hours before drop off during transport because the dog turned out to be a few years older than they thought.
I want to just touch base on some reals here.
$800 to rescue Nicco.
242 days in our facility to include food, care, grooming, preventions and treat/toys. $2500.
$800 to bring him to his new home, $1000 to bring him back, and now how much longer in rescue?
And yet my adoption fees are too high.
Adoptions are now costing thousands and not bringing anything in to cover. Any freaking idea what this means? It means my business isn’t businessing. The numbers don’t make sense and I will not continue to drain the lives of euth listed huskies while adopters are costing us thousands in transport cost and time wasted.
H3 is broken. Adoption programs are broken.
WE DID EVERYTHING WE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO AND WE STILL FOUND THE MONSTERS.
WHAT THE ACTUAL F IS GOING ON WITH HUMANS??
How am I supposed to find homes for dogs when it costs everything, including our trust, to rescue them!
The other day I was so happy about 12 dogs going home. Another flipping illusion. 12 dogs didn’t go home. 12 dogs thought they were going home. Then the humans decided it wasn’t convenient, and only 7 actually made it home.
This week alone, ADOPTERS, I repeat, ADOPTERS have cost us thousands and well, we can no longer afford to be taken advantage of. I won’t be taken advantage of anymore.
I need help to fix this. I have to write a check for construction on our clinic in a few days and I don’t have it because of ADOPTERS. The very people that were here to help me save them. Well guess what, you're not helping, you're killing them.
I need real help and I need it now.
I swear to everything that can be sworn to that if anyone ever abuses my dog like this again, you will be looking ME, Jenni D, dead in the eyes while I get an answer. Bet.
Help me. HELP ME. We are drowning in abuse and it’s costing all of their money. It’s horrible and it needs to stop.

Sickening, this makes my blood boil!! 💔 Nicco will find a family that is worthy of his love and affection. I am just glad you got him back unharmed.
That makes me sick and heartbroken for the dog. People suck!!! What really kills me is when people say that the dog will be an inconvenience. Your dog is supposed to be part of your family so that would be like giving up your kid. Ugh! So damn frustrating!
We have your back Jenni. We’ll continue the contributions because of you and everything about H3!! We ought to be able to put those piece of crap humans in BLAST!! I have no room in my heart for cowards. Especially for the ones who have no voice.
