The One

Sammy came right up to the fence while they were on a tour of the facility. Normally he just hangs out on the beds, up by the house, but it's like he knew that they were there for him. And he was right, they saw his video and knew that they had to come visit the rescue, to meet Sammy.

When he got to greet them in the transition yard, he went straight to Alyssa. No hesitation. And of course, he flopped on his back and demanded belly rubs. Because that is just the type of husky he is.

Melissa asked them, after they got to spend some time getting to know Sammy, if they wanted to see anyone else.

 "No, he is the one."

So, we did the paperwork and got his gear on for the ride home and he was so excited to get going! The team made him stop for his ADOPTED photos and then he jumped right into their car. Where he promptly demanded more belly rubs until he was comfy, settled in and getting sleepy.

Sammy is no longer halfway home. Congratulations buddy, we will be here if you need us. Though I don't think you will, because sometimes when you know, you know.
