WILLY - Adoption Highlight

Willy needs a really special home. He first appeared as a stray in Texas, which alone speaks volumes. Texas is a tough place to be a stray animal. It's hot year-round, shade and water are scarce, disease is rampant, and people continue to breed cute puppies, leaving little interest in a husky with broken-looking ears. Fortunately, Willy ended up with H3 and stayed with us for 18 months before getting his first chance at a forever home.

Sadly, Willy’s first adoption didn’t work out as he was bullied by the resident dog. Despite everyone’s best efforts, sometimes things just don’t go as planned. But Willy is ready to try again.

He has the energy to play but also a great off switch, content to sleep all day next to you. Essentially a laid-back boy, Willy enjoys his space and gets along with other dogs as long as they are calmer. He loves attention and his floppy ears are his best quality. Despite not having the classic husky look, a DNA test confirmed he is 100% husky. At almost six years old, Willy doesn't compete for attention and will patiently wait his turn for pets. Perhaps that's why he's still here?

All H3 huskies including Willy are available for adoption throughout the USA, except for Hawaii and Alaska. We offer transportation services directly to your door upon approval of your application.
